Chicken Varuval is a dish that originated in the southern part of India. The recipe uses a very simple version that saves you time and effort. Ingredients:

  • 120 gm- AsianMeals® Meat curry paste
  • 400 gm- chicken
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 tomatoes (cut in small size)
  • Spring curry leaves

Recipe:

  • In a wok, put oil, onion, chicken and AsianMeals® Meat curry paste. Saute.
  • Put the lid and simmer until the chicken gets cooked.
  • Add water (around 120 ml)
  • Add tomatoes and curry leaves.
  • Stir fry until dry.
  • Serve.

Garnish it with coriander leaves and enjoy with bread or rice.

Fort a richer curry, you can add a little yoghurt. You can also prepare the traditional meat curry using the same recipe. The dish is apt for all red meat or poultry.
