3 Black Pepper Sauce Beef Recipes You Will Absolutely Love

Malaysians are some of the most avid beef eaters in South-East Asia. Black pepper sauce and beef make for a mouth-watering combination that most food aficionados love. Most recipes involving the spice and beef use the stir-frying technique. This is the reason why there are many readymade pastes available in the market that can be used for making stir-fry dishes.

1. Black Pepper Beef

We begin with a simple but delicious dish. Take pieces of flank steak or beef tenderloin and marinate them in oyster sauce, soy sauce, dark soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Chinese rice wine, cornstarch, sugar, and some sesame oil. Marinate the meat for at least 15 minutes. Heat some oil in a pan and then stir-fry the beef until is brown on the outside but its inside is still pink. Stir-fry ginger and garlic along with green and red bell peppers and onion. Put in ground black pepper and fry it. Add the cooked beef after some time and cook until the pink color goes. You can also try this recipe with a stir fry sauce.

2. Stir-Fried Beef with Honey Pepper Sauce

Here is another beef stir-fry that adds a twist to the spicy black pepper sauce with honey. Take honey, soy sauce, and oyster sauce in a bowl. Add Chinese cooking wine and some water followed by coarsely crushed black pepper. Mix everything and set aside. Heat oil and put in some onion and garlic. Add the beef and stir fry it for a minute. Remove it once it has been properly cooked. Cook the sauce on low heat until you see a syrupy texture. Get the meat and onion back on the stove and put in the sauce. Cook for just a minute and then serve it with rice. You can also get readymade pastes that will serve the purpose.

3. Sapi Lada Hitam

This is an Indonesian dish made with thinly-sliced beef. Marinate the meat with Shaoxing wine, soy sauce, and sesame oil along with ground black pepper for 2 hours. Saute ginger and garlic in oil and add some onions. Now, put in the meat and cook until its pink color vanishes. Add red bell pepper and sweet soy sauce, along with oyster sauce, salt, and some sugar. Mix and cook for some time and then add a paste of cornstarch and water. Stir until thick. This is another dish that you can try making with a stir fry sauce.
